William Rodney “Rod” Murray, 76, of Middleburg, FL passed away November 18, 2015. “If you are reading this, I have already passed through the Pearly Gates. I have joined my family who have pre-deceased me. We are walking together on streets of gold, listening to the Heavenly Choir. I have spent 76 years on God’s green earth and as I walked with the Lord, I experienced joy in each day. If, along the road of life, I have offended you in any way, please accept my apology today. I had 51 wonderful years with my beautiful wife and soul-mate, Lawanna. I have three wonderful sons, Jeremiah (Angel), Michael (Peggy) and Jason; seven wonderful grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.” (written by Rod Murray on May 20, 2015) Funeral services for Mr. Murray will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Middleburg United Methodist Historic Church, 3925 Main St. Middleburg, FL 32068 with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Middleburg United Methodist Cemetery.
