Terry "Bean" Higginbotham

Terry “Bean” Higginbotham, 52, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away on November 17, 2015. He was born on August 21, 1963 in Lake City, Florida to parents Jehu Higginbotham and Ruby Doris (Wiggins) Baxley. Bean was a lifelong resident of Middleburg and was in the construction business. He loved cooking breakfast for his wife and sitting on his porch listening to music. He was a free spirit and known for the spontaneous vacation. He will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Bean was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alice Mattox and Sara Higginbotham; brothers, Roger Higginbotham and Pete Higginbotham. Bean is survived by his wife of 12 years, Dawn Sanders Higginbotham; son, Pete Higginbotham; daughters, April Higginbotham and Teri Higginbotham; step-daughters, Mandie Sanders and Kristy Haddock; brother, Fred Higginbotham (Debbie); sisters, Geraldine Dyess, Charlene Balentine (Monte) and sister-in-law, Mary Higginbotham; grandchildren, Chase, Angie, Maddie, Casey, Austin, Blake, Brooklyn, Noah and Elijah, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Byron Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
