Rita R. Hinkle

Rita R. Hinkle, 72, of Melrose, FL passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009. She was born on August 2, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA to parents Walter and Dorothy Miller and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Hinkle honorably served in The United States Marine Corps and was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Marine Corps League. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to go “antiquing,” but above all, she loved her family and will be remembered for being a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, Spurgeon Lawrence Hinkle; 4 children: Debbie Joe (Roger) Hypes, Donnie Lee (Sherry) Hinkle, the twins: Diana Lyn and Darlene Ann Hinkle; 3 brothers: Rev. Joel (Frances) Miller, Kenny (Frances) Miller, and Sammy Miller; 2 sisters: Mary Jane (Shelly) Jackson and Marcia (Charles) Webb; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
