Arthur L. Moore

Arthur L. Moore, 78, of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009. He was born in New York on September 12, 1930. Mr. Moore honorably served his nation in The United States Navy and retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service. He was a Vietnam veteran and was the only lifelong member of the Navy Yacht Club. He enjoyed building and flying remote control planes and was a member of the Gateway Remote Control Club. He was also an avid animal lover. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Ruby. He is survived by 4 children: Terry, Mako, Raymond, and Archie Moore; his adopted family: Debra, Angelia, and Andrea Harris; dear friend, Roxanne Parker; a niece, Joanne; and his beloved pets: dog, Bobo; and cat, Angel. Funeral services will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. Tim McDaniel. Interment will take place in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 12:30 pm.
