Cynthia Lynn Isreal, 65, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009. She was born on January 30, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents, Irving and Ruth James. Mrs. Isreal moved from New Orleans to Florida in 2005 when hurricane Katrina hit the state of Louisiana. She was an avid member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in New Orleans where she was an usher and a member of The Knights of Peter Claver Lady Auxiliary Court 52. She was a mother to everyone and had a giant heart. Mrs. Isreal was also known as the neighborhood beautician from doing everyone’s hair. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived her husband, Irving Isreal; mother, Ruth H. James; daughters, April Isreal (Devairre) and Renee Isreal (Darren); stepson, Joseph Pearce; adopted daughter, Mareketa Carmouche; sisters, Barbara Williams (Donald), Ellen West ( John) and Marie Pearce; grandchildren, Michael, Darian, Sammaira, Kyla, Mahki; and one great-grandchild, Mahisai.
