Francis T. DiCarlo, Sr.

Francis T. DiCarlo, Sr., 81, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009. He was born on September 18, 1927 in Manhattan, NY to parents, Joseph and Leonora DiCarlo. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving as a chef in the United States Army, Navy and Merchant Marines. Mr. DiCarlo was a member of the VFW and enjoyed yard sales and flea markets. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucille DiCarlo and his son, Francis T. DiCarlo, Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Frances Yournett (Milton) of Green Cove Springs, FL; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Clay County Safe Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 65597, Orange Park, FL 32065.
