Marion Labay

Mrs. Marion Labay, 80, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009. She was born on January 2, 1929 in Detroit, MI to parents, William and Beatrice Bell. Mrs. Labay had lived in the local area for the past 20 years and had worked as a nursing assistant. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Green Cove Springs and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and art and craft shows. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Larry Labay. Survivors include her son, Bill Labay of Keystone Heights, FL; daughter, Pam Conti (Bob) of Middleburg, FL; daughter-in-law, Sherri Labay and grandchildren, Larry, Jr. and Amanda. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, April 13, 2009 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church with The Rev. Christopher Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 400 St. Johns Ave., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
