Thomas H. Streeper

Thomas H. Streeper, 79, of Orange Park, FL, passed away November 30, 2015. He was born on December 15, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harold and Jeanne Streeper. Mr. Streeper served his country as a Submariner in the United States Navy and later worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and retired from Civil Service. He was an Honorary Key West Conch; a Mason and a member of Advent Lutheran Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being with his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Jeffrey Streeper of Green Cove Springs. Survivors include his wife, Betty Streeper; daughter, Janet F. Hilton (T.K.); daughter-in-law, Lisa Streeper; brothers-in-law, Fred C. Henning and Peter J. Henning; granddaughters, Jessica Hilton and Julie Hilton (Andy Berry) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Advent Lutheran Church with Rev. Gerald A. Nordsiek, Jr. officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment with military honors will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org or the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org.
