Patricia Carlisle Taylor, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville while staying with family in Williston. She was born in Newberry, FL and moved to Williston in 1964. After her marriage to George Taylor, she relocated to Jacksonville. She was a lady of strong faith which was evident to all who met her. She shared this faith with many and worked tirelessly to further the Kingdom of God. She was a Sunday School Teacher for many years, sang in the choir, worked in a Prison Ministry and was the church pianist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester W. and Frances Carlisle of Williston. She is survived by her husband, George Taylor of Jacksonville; children George T. Taylor, III of Ringgold, GA; daughter Sharilyn Taylor of Jacksonville and grandson, Nathan of Ringgold GA. Sisters, Janice Carlisle Osteen, Demeris Carlisle Arrington (James); Darlene Carlisle Hopping (Wayne) all of Williston. Brothers J.L. Carlisle (Janice) of Williston and John Carlisle (Alice) of Seffner, FL. Brother-in-Laws, Danny (Debbie S.) of Green Cove Springs; Perry Taylor (Debbie T.) of Waycross, GA; Sister-in-Laws Becky Ogletree (Lowell) of Jacksonville; Deborah Raulerson (Ron) of Bryceville, FL and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Williston Church of God at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 with Pastors Wes Smith and Keith Langford officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery, Williston, FL.
