Robert A. Cumming

Robert A. Cumming, 62, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. He was born on July 28, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Robert and Jane Cumming. Bob lived in the local area for the last 31 years after returning from Atlanta where he met his loving wife Amy. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the beach, playing golf and watching the Florida Gators. He was a friend to many and never said a bad word about anyone. Bob loved his family dearly and was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Cumming Jr., and he is survived by his wife Amy Cumming; mother, Jane Cumming; son, Adam Cumming (Christine); daughter, Amanda Cumming; brother, Barry Cumming; and grandchild, Sarah. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 13, 2009 at Lake Shore United Methodist Church with Reverend Thomas R. Fuller officiating. Graveside services will start at 3:00 pm in Jacksonville Memory Gardens cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
