Shanna Lynne Sanders

Shanna Lynne Sanders, 37, passed away December 19, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park after nearly a six year fight with Metastatic Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of the Appendix. Shanna was a lifelong resident of Orange Park, Florida. She loved to hunt, fish and garden. Even fighting her cancer, she loved the outdoors. It was her wish her body be donated to the University of Florida College of Medicine for use in medical education. It was her hope and prayer by doing so they would find a cure for someone else. Shanna is survived by her soul mate, Joseph Francis; children, Lizabeth Sanders, Jonathan Sanders and April Francis; granddaughter Aaliyah Kingbird; step-daughters, Heather Francis Furlong (Ryan) and Mariah Francis; parents, Al and Cheryl Sanders; brothers, Mark Sanders (Nicole) and Jason Sanders; grandmothers, Delores Cooley and Jean Sanders; aunts and uncles, Cyndi and Eddie Eisenhauer, Derryl Cooley and Donna Waltrip, Timmy Sanders, Karolyn and Tom Carpenter and Cindy Sanders with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
