Florence Marie Dickey

Marie passed away January 5, 2016 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 90. She was born to Arthur and Bertha Guessford on April 5, 1925 in St. Georges, Delaware. Marie married Rev. Kenneth Dickey on June 12, 1944. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1995. They had two daughters, Alice and Virginia and one son, Kenneth. Alice preceded her in death on April 14, 2015. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on January 12, 1988 when she joined Lewistown, Pennsylvania Chapter #212. She received her Academy of Friendship on February 21, 1993. Marie came to Moosehaven on November 30, 2010 where she has resided for 5 years. No Services at Moosehaven; the funeral service will be held at Roger Barr Funeral Home, Lewistown, PA, on Wednesday January 13, 2016. She will be laid to rest in First Methodist Cemetery, Lewistown, Pennsylvania. She is survived by son, Kenneth Dickey, DVM of Danville, Kentucky and daughter, Virginia Wells of Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
