Billie “Bill” Hardin

Billie “Bill” Hardin passed away on January 28, 2016 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 90.
He was born on May 31, 1925 in Adamsville, Tennessee to parents Herman R. and Emma L. (Finley) Hardin.
Bill served his country honorably in the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam and Korea Wars. He received the Unit Commendation Medal, four battle stars and seven Good Conduct Medals. Bill retired after 30 years of service.
He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on July 7, 1970 when he joined Selmer, Tennessee Lodge #1321. He received his Fellowship degree of merit on October 14, 1984 and Past Governor on May 1, 1987.
Bill came to Moosehaven on November 15, 2005 where he resided for 10 years.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Selmer, Tennessee.
Bill is survived by brother James Hayse Hardin of Clearwater, Florida and sister Bobbye Ruth Hardin of Thousand Palms, California and nephew Brandon Hardin of Fleming Island, Florida.
