Dr. Jon M. Bursen

Dr. Jon M. Bursen, 62, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009. He was born in New York, New York on March 2, 1947 to parents, Earl and Ethel Bursen. Dr. Bursen moved to the local area 8 years ago from Gainesville, FL and was Jewish by faith. He was a very gifted artist with lots of artwork. Dr. Jon was a graduate of Cornell University and received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. He was a forensic psychiatrist and he enjoyed hanging out with his friends in the cigar club and also enjoyed boating. He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by the love of his life in which he loved more than life itself, his wife, Maria S.
