Janie L Moore

Janie L. Moore, 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away February 3, 2016. She was born on July 8, 1936 in Cholette, Virginia to parents Lewis and Ella (Milton) King. Janie came to the area from Virginia in 1976, was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Congregational Holiness Church. She loved her church family and the Clay County Senior Center in Green Cove Springs. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Walter C. Moore, Jr. in 2005. She is survived by her sons, Delbert L. (Jackie), William C. (Renee), Ricky L. (Tammy), Randy M. Sr. and Randy M. (Felicia) Moore, Jr; daughters, Dale F. Brown (Buddy) and Debbie F. Blessett; brothers, Melvin and Otis King; sisters, Hazel Creech, Arlene Poston and Helen Smith; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janie’s family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 3-5:00pm at the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Congregational Holiness Church with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating. Interment following at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
