Mrs. Dorothy F. Trumble

Mrs. Dorothy F. Trumble, 74, of Orange Park, FL, passed away April 24, 2009. She was born on May 7, 1934 in Watseka, IL to parents, Earl and Erma Potter. Mrs. Trumble was a homemaker and had lived in the local area since 1977, moving here from Fort Walton Beach, FL. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed music and playing the organ. Mrs. Trumble was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Eugene Potter. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry A. Trumble; sons, Steven L. Trumble (Donna) of Orange Park, FL and Stuart A. Trumble of Middleburg, FL; daughter, Susan L. Trumble of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Dale Potter of Oak Forest, IL (Lori); grandchildren, Brandon and Kathryn and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Hannah. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, April 27, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Mike Madaris officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257.
