Sandra "Sandy" Shepard

Sandra “Sandy” Shepard March 14, 1944 – February 11, 2016 Sandy passed away February 11, 2016 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 71. She was born to Reubin and Louise Sorrells on March 14, 1944 in Porterdale, Georgia. Sandy married Donald Shepard on December 10, 1962. They had two daughters, Pamela and Tammy and two sons Gary and Mitchel. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on April 13, 1985 when her husband, Donald joined Jacksonville, FL Lodge. Sandy joined Moosehaven Opportunity Chapter #3002 on May 8, 2005. Sandy came to Moosehaven with her husband Donald on April 12, 2005 where she has resided for 10 years. Funeral Services held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:30pm. Following cremation inurnment will take place in the Moosehaven Mausoleum. Services conducted by Helen Taylor and Officers of Opportunity Chapter. She is survived by husband, Donald Shepard, a resident of Moosehaven, Orange Park, Florida, daughters Tammy McKendree of Yulee, Florida, Pamela Betancourt of Jacksonville, Florida and sons Gary and Mitchel Shepard of Jacksonville, Florida. Sandy also had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandy was a sweet, kind soul and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
