Julie Rizer

Julie Rizer, 41, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009. She was born on March 23, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN to parents, D.W. and Angie Matthews. Julie was a homemaker and loved tennis, volunteering at her children’s school and was a great Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fleming Island and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and is survived by her father, D.W. Matthews; her loving husband of 18 years, Chris Rizer; son, Matthew Rizer; daughter, Megan Rizer and brothers, David Matthews, Andy Matthews and Dan Matthews. A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by visitation until 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant. Inurnment will take place in the Sacred Heart Columbarium.
