Dale Mocas, 87, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away February 24, 2016. He was born on August 6, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to parents Thomas and Rebecca (Dorset) Mocas. Mr. Mocas was a Korean War Veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy. He had worked as an electrical designer for Reynolds, Smith and Hills and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed boating, working on automobiles and was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elease Mocas, brothers, Christo and Verlin Mocas and sisters, Christine Nicholson,Marie Eubanks, Etheleen Maund and Doris Nokes. Survivors include his sons, Mark B. Mocas (Kimberly) and Kirk R. Mocas; daughter, Tonya L. Mocas (Turner); brother, Verle W. Mocas and 3 grandsons, Kris, Zachary and Jeremy. Graveside inurnment with military honors will be held at 9:00 am Monday, March 7, 2016 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
