Louise Skinner Alford Allen

Louise Skinner Alford Allen of Green Cove Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 11, 2016. She was born in Lake City, Florida on October 22, 1917, the daughter of Bryant S. and Annis (Register) Skinner. She married John W. Alford on February 16, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John W. Alford and Linwood Allen. Louise is survived by her children, Carl L. Alford (Melba) and Wayne R. Alford (Joan); sister, Ethel Malone; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 18, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Ralph Estevez officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. to service time. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery 1007 NE Needmore Road, White Springs, FL 32096.
