Mary Ann Bentley

Mary Ann Bentley, 68, of Middleburg, FL, passed away April 30, 2009. She was born on September 27, 1940 in Covington, KY to parents, John and Clara Brewster. Mrs. Bentley had been a telephone operator for Cincinnati Bell and moved to the local area in March of 1995 from Huber Heights, OH. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleburg and enjoyed sewing, painting, traveling and square dancing. Mrs. Bentley was an avid gardener and was a member of the Middleburg Gardening Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Buford Bentley; sons, Tracey Allen Bentley of Marina del Rey, CA and Tommy Lynn Bentley of Maineville, OH; grandson, Alexander James Bentley of Maineville, OH and her beloved dog, Tazzy. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 pm, Monday, May 4, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. Inurnment will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast FL, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL (904) 284-4000.
