Kathleen "April" Murrhee

Kathleen “April” Murrhee, 34, of Keystone Heights, FL entered into rest April 1, 2016 in Gainesville, FL. She was born on September 10, 1981 in Orange Park, FL. April had a wonderful smile that would light up a room and brighten even the darkest day. She loved music and enjoyed playing her piano and guitar. April had participated in the Special Olympics, loved going to school and especially loved riding the school bus to get there. Fishing was one of her favorite things to do but she also loved being a princess. She loved her family dearly as they did her and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. April is survived by her parents Tony and Patti (Weller) Murrhee; brother, Daniel Murrhee; grandmother, Betty Murrhee; aunts, Jeanne Aten, Sylvia Murrhee, Gloria Hunt and Linda Heney; uncles, Terry Weller and Ken Murrhee; god-mother, Laurie Belle Smith; other aunts and uncles, Patricia, Greg, Darlene and Diana; cousins, Michael Weller, Paula Johnson, Margarette Stewart and Ronda Beard; other cousins, family members and friends. A celebration of April’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Keith Stewart officiating.
