Paul Edward Lynch, Sr.

Paul Edward Lynch, Sr., 80, of Orange Park, FL, passed away April 5, 2016. He was born October 9, 1935 in Mena, Arkansas to parents, James E. and Ollie Juanita (Reed) Lynch. Mr. Lynch graduated from Mena High School and joined the Air Force. At the age of 21 he met the love of his life that he was married to for 50 years. He raised 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Through all of life’s trials he provided a solid base and loving home for everyone to launch their life’s endeavors. Mr. Lynch was always there for everyone who needed him while working over 40 years for the United States Military. He enjoyed fishing, sporting events, tending the garden and watching the kids and grandkids. Mr. Lynch loved helping everyone fix their broken engines. And last but not least – sitting on the porch in a folding chair sipping on a beer. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jackie Lynch. Mr. Lynch is survived by his sons, James Stephen Lynch (Karen) of Plant City, FL, Paul Edward Lynch, Jr. of Orange Park, FL and Jeffery David Lynch of Fleming Island, FL; daughters, Sharon Juanita Judkins (Doyle) of Hatfield, AR and Verna Dee Knox (Paul) of St. Petersburg, FL; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services with full military honors will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, April 8, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm until service time. Burial in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL will be on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:30pm.
