Peggy A. Newton Collins

Peggy A. Newton Collins, 53, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009. She was born on September 1, 1955 in Colorado Springs, CO and had lived in the local area for 19 years. She was a very successful sales representative for Blue Cross & Blue Shield. She enjoyed history and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her father, Donald Newton (Billie); son, Justin Ray; daughter, Julie Collins; brothers, George V. Korte; Steven Newton (Carol), Michael Newton (Mallory), Gary Newton and David Newton (Terri); sisters, Debra Busekist, Dawn Korte and Janice Miller; step-father, George Korte and ex-husband, Danny Collins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel one hour prior to the service time. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Salvation Army, 2795 CR 220, Middleburg, FL 32068.
