Beatrice E. Robinson

Beatrice E. Robinson, 66, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away unexpectedly April 15, 2016. She was born on April 12, 1950 in Dalton, GA to parents, Benjamin Troupe and Mary Elizabeth (Shelton) Robinson. Beatrice loved the Lord and was a very godly woman. She loved to garden and bake and was a wonderful mother, Nana and sister. “Our mom, Beatrice, was a very proud Marine Corps wife for 22 years. CWO4 Marcus W. Johns. Sr. USMC (Ret) is very proud to have had such a wonderful lady to have been our mother. “Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Benny Joe Robinson and Barron Troupe Robinson; sister, Dorothy Sedlick; and grandson, Justin Weller Johns. Survivors include her sons, Marcus Wayne Johns Jr. (Heather), Billy Wayne Johns and Anthony Wayne Johns (Charlotte); sisters, Betty Meeks, Barbara Roberts (Ronald), Beverly Miller (Charles) and Annette Cribb (Randy); grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Amber, Alexis, Courtney, Troupe, Breann, Alexandra, Theresa, Madison and Hollee; a great-granddaughter is expected in August. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning an hour prior to service time.
