Teresa Kay Ryan, 44, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Middleburg, Florida. She was born on May 8, 1971 in Lake Wales, Florida to parents Mark and Elizabeth Jane (Howze) Johnson, Sr.
Teresa moved to the area in 1991 from Lake Wales, Florida. She loved life and was a mother to all. Teresa was a great cook and made the BEST potato salad EVER! She was a huge Florida Gators fan, loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles and “didn’t take no shit”, according to her children. Teresa loved her Memaw. She was an amazing, loving and independent, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 3 years, Philip William Ryan, Jr.; sons, Cody Gibson and Hunter (Kimilyn) Gibson; daughters, Erica Eddins and Savanna Booker; parents, Mark and Elizabeth Jane Johnson, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Evelyn “Memaw” Howze; brother, Mark Johnson, Jr. and his wife, the favorite sister-in-law, Sandy; grandson, Hunter James Gibson, Jr.; nephews, Mark Johnson, III, Zack Johnson and Trae Johnson; and her fur babies, Sammie, Charlie, Lenox Lewis and Layla.
A celebration of her life service will be held at 6:30 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Middleburg Civic Center.
