Judith Carol Kennedy

Judith “Judy” Kennedy October 19, 1939 – April 24, 2016 Judy passed away on April 24, 2016 at Orange Park Medical Center at the age of 76. She was born on October 19, 1939 to parents Edward Elwood Smith and Margaret (Reed) Smith in Greensburg, PA. Judy worked for Greensboro Pathology in insurance and collections retiring in 2001. She worked as a secretary for most of her career. Judy became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on December 2, 1975 when she joined Greensboro, NC Chapter #1402. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on May 7, 1978, College of Regents Degree on June 26, 1982 and served as a Star Recorder on June 23, 1985. Judy joined our Moosehaven family on July 30, 2012 where she has resided for the past 4 years. The family will honor Judy’s life at a family gathering in Zebulon, North Carolina on Friday, April 29, 2016. She is survived by daughters, Cheri Lombardi of Leesburg, Florida and Starr Pate of Brown Summit, NC; brother, Kenneth Smith of Portage, IN; sister, Deborah Lee of Zebulon, NC. Her daughter Kim preceded her in death on February 15, 2010.
