Charles M Harper

Charles M. Harper, 96, of Middleburg, FL passed away April 27, 2016. He was born in Evans County, GA on April 4, 1920 to Thomas C. and Lanie (Allen) Harper. Mr. Harper was a WWII veteran, retired sheet metal worker and an active union member. He was a lifelong member of the Middleburg United Methodist Church who dedicated his life to his community by being active in the Clay County Agricultural Fair and the Clay County Food Bank. Mr. Harper loved music and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, JoAnn Harper. Mr. Harper is survived by his son, Randy Battle; life-long partner, Linda Pruitt; daughter, Pamela Strader; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his extended family, John, Cindy, Justin, Ashley and Cheyanne Orbe.
