Dorothy Louise Loper

Dorothy Louise Loper, 72, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009. She was born on May 29, 1936 in Patterson, Georgia to Weightstille Griner and Hattie Mae Williams. Dorothy lived in the local area for the last 30 years. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Deland, FL. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and cooking. Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Loper and her parents. She is survived by her son, Joey Loper (Linda); daughter, Judy Loper; brothers, W.L. Williams (Helen), and Robert Williams (Suzanne); sister, Helen Rowell (Donald); grandson, Matthew Teuton; 3 great grandchildren with 1 on the way; and her beloved cat and dog, Tootsie and Piggy. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Broadus-Raines Chapel following with interment at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Services conducted by Reverend Charlie Hunt.
