Cecil Reeves McGee

Cecil Reeves McGee (94) passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was a native of Vernon, AL and had lived in this area since 1945 moving from Columbus; MS. Mr. McGee was a trustee for many years at the First Baptist Church Green Cove Springs. He is survived by his son John McGee (Vivian), 2 daughters Sandra Gallagher (Michael) and Carol McReynolds (Rocky), his brother Buddy McGee, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. McGee was pre-deceased by his wife Eleanor and son Jeff McGee. The family will receive friends at the Broadus-Raines Chapel for visitation from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm. On Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm in First Baptist Church, Green Cove Springs, FL with Pastor Sam Castaño officiating Interment will follow in the Penney Farms Cemetery with military honors conferred.
