Charles Stanley Morehead

Charles Stanley Morehead, 70, of Fleming Island, FL passed away May 3, 2016. Mr. Morehead was born in Chesterland, OH to Clarence Paul and Alberta Alice (Alt) Morehead. He came to Northeast Florida in 1989 from Philadelphia, PA and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fleming Island. Mr. Morehead loved West Virginia Mountaineers football and was a big movie buff when it came to action movies. He was the family historian and loved being with his siblings and friends. Mr. Morehead is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Janis Judy Morehead; brothers, Edward and Donald Morehead; and sisters, Peggy Clifford and Linda Gant. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 780 Water Oak Lane, Fleming Island, FL 32003 with Bishop Jimmy Barker officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow with military honors at 2:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
