Angeline “Angie” Denman of Green Cove Springs died of pneumonia while in Hospice Orange Park on 5/3/2016 at the age of 88. She was born on 8/2/1927 in Port Coquitlam British Columbia, Canada into a family of 11 children. She is survived by her sister Theresa, age 90 and brother Bernie, age 86. Angie worked until she was 67 when she retired from the City of Jacksonville. Prior to that she worked for the Clay County School Board, and hosiery mill in Green Cove Springs. Though she was raised Catholic, she and her children were members of the First United Methodist Church in Green Cove. She walked on a treadmill 4 times a day until the age of 80. She was actively involved with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and has been a loving host for many of our holiday and birthday gatherings. We will miss her most during the holidays when she prepared dinner for 25-30 family and extended family members. She was strong and determined, a soft spoken person of few words, and had a loving forgiving spirit. Angie is survived by 4 children: Arthur(Joann) Denman, Debbie Denman, Lynn Jefferson, and Mark Denman; 8 grandchildren Nate O’berry (Christi), Arty Denman, Cynthia Denman Lester Bodden, Matt Denman, Katie Denman, Ashley Denman, John Jefferson, and Scott Keller; and 9 great grandchildren Chelsea Denman, Briar Denman, Kenzleigh Denman, Luke Denman, Miranda Denman, Jolon O’Berry, Katie Munguia, Zoie Lee, and Rayvinn Padilla. A memorial service has been planned for Spring Park on 106 Walnut Street in Green Cove Springs on May 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM. We will miss her big smile and her love of family.
