Shawn Michael Deas

Shawn Michael Deas, 34, of Middleburg, FL, passed away May 10, 2016. He was born on April 16, 1982 in Jacksonville, FL. Shawn was an EMT/Instructor who owned First Response CPR, First Aid and AED Training for over 10 years. He was a member of the IAFF as well as having been an Eagle Scout when he was young. Shawn was an avid animal lover and was very active in pet adoption and animal rescue. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Deas; father, Donnie Deas; mother, Gerri Matthews and grandfather, Alonzo Sherrous. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Tim Austin officiating.
