Mary Margaret (MM) Cox Ferrell Pyle passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:45pm in Florida. She had been a resident of Jacksonville, Fl since 1986. Prior to that she lived in Parkersburg, WV. Born in Spencer, WV on March 13, 1928, she was 88 at the time of her death.
MM was the daughter of Andrew and Beulah Rishel Cox, and the granddaughter of William S and Lucy Rishel of Clover, WV. She is survived by her daughters Jeanne Ferrell Moellendick and her husband, Milt, of Fleming Island, Fl; Meg Ferrell Miller and her husband, Rick, of Fairfax, Va; and her son, Charles (Kip) E Pyle and his wife, Lisa, of Denver, Co. She is survived by grandchildren: Marta Moellendick, Mitch Moellendick and Cora, his wife; Katie Miller; Brynne Miller Davy and Dan, her husband; and (self-adopted) Laura Fessenden. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Murphy and Gregory Moellendick. She is also survived by Carole Fowler of Jacksonville, Fl and her children: Debbie Reid, Cathy McCallister, and Jay Fowler as well as her niece, Marcia Beer.
MM had a long career starting at First National Bank in Spencer, WV through Wood County and Mountain State Banks of Parkersburg, WV. She owned the real estate brokerage firm, Good Neighbor Realty, in Parkersburg before moving to Jacksonville, Fl where she spent 30 years in real estate, most recently retiring at the age of 80 from RE/MAX Specialists. Barbara Kreglow, her long time real estate partner, remains as an active agent.
There will be a service for Mary Margaret on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Mandarin United Methodist Church at 11270 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32223 (www.mumc.net/). Viewing will be opened to friends from 10:30-11:30, and the service will begin at noon. Attendees are invited to join the family for light refreshments at the conclusion. Immediately after the service MM will be flown to WV where she will be interred at Clover Cemetery. A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, June 4. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
