Eugene "Rocky" Rokata Suggs, Jr.

Eugene “Rocky” Rokata Suggs, Jr., 46, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He was born on March 21, 1963 in Jacksonville, Fl and was of the Baptist faith. He was the owner of Rocky Mountain Grill in Lake Asbury, FL. Rocky loved to go fishing, jet skiing and boating in his free time. He also loved going to the beach and meditating. Rocky was a very friendly and outgoing person and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Crista Suggs; his step-children, Allison and R.J. who knew him as their “Poppy”; mother, Constance “Connie” Suggs; sister; Jennie Renne Elliott (David); nephews, James Brandon Crawford (Angel) and Zachary Taylor Elliott; 1 great-nephew, James Mikal Crawford and brother- in-law, John Charron. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2009 at Pinewood Presbyterian Church officiated by Reverend John Findlay. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the church. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
