Florence Wildsmith

Florence Wildsmith passed away May 29, 2009 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 82. She was born to Elmer and Margaret Beaver on August 19, 1926 in Danville, PA. Florence married Charles Wildsmith on Christmas Day, December 25, 1947. After four years of marriage, they had their first child, Janet, and a few years later, Charles Jr. was born. She worked as a keypunch operator for the Follmer Trucking Company for 20 years and retired in 1973. Charles and Florence came to Moosehaven on October 5, 2004 where she has resided for 4 years. Funeral Services were held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Helen Taylor and Opportunity Chapter followed by cremation. She is survived by her husband, Charles, daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Rodney Ward of Charleston, SC, son and daughter in law, Charles Jr and Pat Wildsmith of Albuquerque, NM, three grandchildren, Emily Wildsmith, Patrick and Benjamin Ward. Sister in laws, Patricia and Lois, brother in laws, Ira and Joe Wildsmith, and four nieces, Judy, Dorothy Ann, Bobby and Nancy. Please sign the family’s online register book at www.broadusraines.com.
