Beverly Ann Olson

Beverly “B” Ann Olson, 68, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2016 in her home at Moosehaven in Orange Park, FL. She was born on July 8, 1948 to parents Bernard E. & Mary Ellen (Boekholt) McCauley in Rockford, IL. Beverly wanted everyone to know that at the age of 7 she became a Christian. She loved the Lord and was very devoted to her church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Beverly was a retired school teacher but still volunteered at the library after retiring she also was a business owner. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose when her husband Kenneth M. Olson joined the Harvard, IL Lodge #1289. Beverly became a member of Lake Shore-Orange Park Chapter #1495 in 2011. Beverly moved to Moosehaven on October 19, 2015. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth M. Olson and is survived by her son, David Olson; granddaughter, Annaka Olson; grandson, Seven Olson; brother, Gary McCauley; sisters, Diane Hatfield and her husband Steve and Gail Deluhery and her husband (Craig). Beverly was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held in her memory on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Moosehaven Chapel. Services will be conducted by Helen Taylor, Reverend Ray Mayfield of Westside Baptist church in Jacksonville and Officers of Opportunity Chapter. In lieu of flowers “B” request that contributions in her memory be made to Moosehaven, Inc. 1701 Park Avenue Orange Park, FL 32073. Cremation arrangements are in care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home 501 Spring Street Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 (904) 284-4000.
