Dewey S. Mercer

Dewey S. Mercer, 59, passed away July 22, 2016. Dewey was born on October 24, 1956 in Miami, Florida. Dewey is survived by his mother, Betty Woehle; sisters, Shirley Haymen, Carolyn Martin, Marla Horne and Dianne Gray; brothers, Curtis Tacy and Allan Tacy; other family include Ann Gross, Harold Stamey, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will directly follow with Pastor Tim Thomas and Pastor David Thomas officiating. Considering Dewey's lifelong passion for helping others, the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to any no kill animal shelter or by donating blood.
