Jewell Inez Carter

Jewell Inez Carter, 82, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009. She was born on September 12, 1926 in Clay Hill, FL to parents, George and Ruby Carter. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed working with her flowers as well as spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sister, Carolyn Weeks; 2 nieces, Janice (Mike) Rhoden and Louisa (Randolph) Padgett; 2 nephews, Jimmy (Joan) Weeks and Wayne (Stacey) Weeks; 9 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2009 in Long Branch Baptist Church with Reverend Matt Williams officiating.
