Edward Wilson Hopkins, Jr.

Edward Wilson Hopkins, Jr., 74, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away August 23, 2016. He was born on September 24, 1941 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Edward Wilson and Mary (Jordan) Hopkins, Sr. Mr. Hopkins came to the area six years ago from Virginia and loved socializing and having dinner parties. He enjoyed his time with really good friends at Starbucks as well. Mr. Hopkins was retired from Civil Service with the United States Navy and is preceded in death by his wife, Ginny Hopkins. He is survived by his sons, Troy Hopkins (Rhonda) and Eddie Hopkins (Amanda); daughters, Amy Thomas (Mike) and Sherry Hughes; sister, Susan Winstead; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
