Susan Paula Schortemeyer

Susan Paula Schortemeyer, 67, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away August 25, 2016. Mrs. Schortemeyer was born on September 2, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York to the late William and Pauline (Delnicki) LaVecchia. She moved to the area in 2006 from Long Island, New York and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Schortemeyer was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, hand writing letters and watching mystery and horror movies. Mrs. Schortemeyer was witty, stubborn and had her own way about her. She was a quiet, old-school, private person who everyone loved and was family oriented. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years together, George Schortemeyer; daughter, Suzanne Tenga (Louis); sister, Anne Wiggins and three grandchildren.
