Romeo Louis Lataille

Romeo “Romey” Louise Lataille passed away peacefully on August 26, 2016 at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL at the age of 97. He was born to parents Doria and Alice Lataille on October 23, 1918 in St. Bernard, Quebec Canada. Romey married Helena Morin on August 24, 1940. They had a daughter Claire and a son Robert. On February 16, 1963, he married, Mary and was blessed with a step daughter Ellen. Mary preceded him in death on November 25, 2010. He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on February 21, 1986 when he joined the Silver Springs, Florida Lodge #1199. Romey came to Moosehaven on September 20, 2005 with his wife, Mary where he resided for the past 11 years. Romey loved playing Bingo and spending time with his friends at Moosehaven. He is survived by daughter, Claire Lepear of E. Falmouth, Massachusetts, son, Robert Lataille of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and stepdaughter, Ellen Arsenault of Orange Park, Florida. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 1:30 pm in the Moosehaven Chapel with Father Anthony Basso as celebrant. Interment of ashes in the Moosehaven Mausoleum.
