Carol V. Skaggs

Carol V. Skaggs, 79, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away September 7, 2016. She was born on April 9, 1937 in Maplewood, WV to parents Harold and Virginia (Taylor) McCallister. Mrs. Skaggs was a homemaker and moved to Fleming Island, FL 5 years ago from Greenville, SC. She loved quilting and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Mark A. Skaggs. Survivors include her husband, Paul Skaggs; children, Tamara D. Waterson (Alvin Salvator), Tim Skaggs (Angela) and Misty Skaggs; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
