Geraldine "Gerri" Johnson

Gerri Johnson, 78, of Saint Augustine, Florida, formally of Mandarin, Florida Passed from this life on September 22, 2016. Gerri was born April 27, 1938, in Mandarin, Florida. She married the love of her life, William “Junior” Johnson and had two daughters, Lucinda and Melinda. Gerri worked in banking for thirty three years most of which time in senior management positions. After retiring from banking Gerri went on to work and subsequently retire from the St. Johns County School District. Gerri is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Left to celebrate her life’s memory are her daughters Lucinda Varnadore and her husband Robert Varnadore, Sr., granddaughter Jennifer Varnadore, grandson Robert Varnadore, Jr., granddaughter Brandi Varnadore and great granddaughter, Chloe (aka Super baby), Melinda Wood and husband Thomas Wood, Sr., granddaughter Stephanie Elizabeth Wood with great grandson Brayden Alexander on the way, granddaughter-in-law Lori Michelle McKeever and her husband Michael McKeever, great granddaughters Sarah, Alley and Katie and Thomas Wood Jr., his wife Sheila, and great grand children Samantha and Thomas III. Many loving and faithful friends will miss Gerri’s quick smile, loving care and special sense of humor. Gerri would like her friends to remember and celebrate the time they shared prior to her passing. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
