Stephanie Macko

Stephanie Macko, 93, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016. She was born on March 5, 1923 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to parents Charles Miller and Elizabeth Smith Miller. Mrs. Macko was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Stephanie enjoyed crocheting, reading novels and St. Catherine’s “handicrafts”. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Macko is predeceased by her parents and husband, John A. Macko. She is survived by her sons, John L. Macko (Jodi) and James E. Macko, Sr. (Wanda); grandchildren, Jeanette Justice (Mark), Deanna Blue (Brian), Laureen Macko, James E. Macko, Jr. (Rachel), Brandon J. Macko and William Macko (Amber) and great grandchildren, Samantha Hirsch, Kali Blue, Kaleb Blue, Katerina Justice, Julianna Justice, Amilia Justice, Jameson Macko and Wyatt Macko. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Father Ignatius Plathanam as celebrant. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made in Stephanie’s memory to Haven Hospice.
