Felix Antonio Ramirez

Felix Antonio Ramirez, father of Pedro and Max Ramirez of Ramirez Restaurant, 1237 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009. Mr. Ramirez was born to the late Clemente and Antonia Ramirez on August 20, 1933 in the Dominican Republic. A resident of Valley Stream, NY, he had been in Florida for three weeks before his passing. Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Silveria Ramirez; six children: Teresita Ramirez, Pedro Antonio Ramirez, Dalmacio Ramirez, Lelia Ramirez, Ulcina Mercede Ramirez Rodriguez, and Luz Ramirez Rosario; eight brothers; one sister; fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, July 5, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 6, 2009 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Trujillo as Celebrant. Viewing in the church will begin at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will take place in Cementario Municipal de Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic.
