Margaret "Peggy" McColskey

Margaret “Peggy” McColskey, 95, of Jacksonville, FL passed away October 3, 2016. She was born on September 20, 1921 in Newport, Tennessee to the late James Edom and Nelle M. (Rowe) Robinson. Mrs. McColskey was a member of Hibernia Baptist Church at Hyde Park Campus, active in the Women’s Missionary Union and a Sunday school teacher for 38 years.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Stephen “Cary” McColskey; daughter, Linda Humphrey; brother, Dave Robinson and sisters, Nelle Rowe Morrell and Elizabeth Taylor. Mrs. McColskey is survived by her sons, John Wood (Mary), Steve McColskey (Paula), and Craig McColskey (Flo); sister, Jane Gorrell; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hibernia Baptist Church at Hyde Park Campus, 2000 Lane Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210 with funeral services on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:00am, Rev.
