Irene Gillyard

Irene Gillyard, 91, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009. She was born on December 22, 1917 in Tavares, FL, to parents Buck and Geneva Freeman. Irene was preceded in death by both parents; her husband of 55 years, Morris; sons, Charles, Moultrie, Autrey; daughters, Betty Jean, Judy; brothers, Oscar, David, Jack, and Lincoln and sister Rachel. She is survived by sons, Royan, Robert Clifton, Daniel, Allen; daughters, Bernice, Linda, Joyce and Rebecca; sister, Rozzell; 44 grandchildren; 91 great grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, July 13, 2009 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Paul C. Salazar and Pastor Ronnie Surrency officiating.
