Joann Mendenhall

Joann G. Mendenhall, 76, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009. She was born on January 28, 1933 in Rome, GA to parents Glinnie and Ruth Greer. Survivors include her children James Maxwell (Alice), Sharon Ventress (Billy), David Maxwell (Kim), Brenda Sutherland (Frankie), Jerry Maxwell (Tammy), Ricky Maxwell (Judy), Belinda Rewis (Stacy), Frankie Sue Freeman (Tracy), Teresa Ashworth (Hermes), 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2009 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 13, 2009 at Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Ronnie Surrency officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
