Alan Bruce Jordan

Alan passed away peacefully on October 8, 2016 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 82. He was born on August 3, 1934 in Buffalo, NY to parents Stewart and Ruth (Eckel) Jordan.   He served his country honorably in the United States Navy as a Radio Operator. During his time in the Navy he earned the Good Conduct, National Defense and the Efficiency “E” award.   Alan married Faith Jordan; they had 3 children, David, Donna and Deborah. They divorced on August 12, 1991. He then married Marjorie (Miller) Jordan who preceded him in death on March 5, 2009.   He loved to play Bingo with his friends at Moosehaven and talking to anyone who would listen about his cat Ms. Annie.   He became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on March 20, 1990 when he joined Tallahassee, FL Lodge #1075. Alan came to Moosehaven on January 27, 2010 where he resided for the past 7 years.   He is survived by his children, David, Donna and Deborah Jordan, Brother Cliff Jordan of Altamonte Springs, FL and Sister Shirley Ritchie of Leesburg, FL.   Alan will be laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
